MIGHTYFIST PATTERNS TOURNAMENT
Saturday March 22nd at the Dojang
Mightyfist Taekwon-Do is excited to announce that we will have a patterns tournament this month. All students are welcome to participate regardless of belt rank or age.
All competitors will be divided into categories depending on age and belt rank.
The event will be a fun tournament with medals being awarded to the winners. The tournament will take place in the morning and early afternoon. Students will be given a 30-45 minute time slot closer to the date once all of the forms have been submitted.
Forms are available at the Dojang or by clicking the download link below.
Please try to have your forms completed and handed back to the dojang no later than Friday, March 14th to take advantage of the early bird price of $40.
Please remember that all students blue stripe and above should have experienced a tournament as part of their belt requirements.

INSTRUCTOR TRAINING
The success of Mightyfist Taekwon-Do takes a lot of hard work, and a lot of behind the scenes planning. One example of how we improve the Dojang experience is the monthly Instructor and trainee instructor training.
This happens when students are not in class when all instructors and trainee instructors attend staff training sessions. Master Morris will discuss the curriculum, teach the instructors how to teach, and focus on class objectives as a way to improve lessons. This all helps to make sure that Mightyfist students are receiving the best martial arts training possible.

MOUTH GUARDS

All Yellow belts and above. Please ensure that you fit and mold your mouth guard properly. Mouth guards should be CLEAR and fit properly on your teeth. Improperly fitted mouth guards will not protect you and can be a choking hazard.

LEARN TO TIE YOUR BELT!
We teach all of the students how to tie their belt properly so that it doesn’t come undone during the lesson. In addition, a well-tied belt will complement a neat uniform. However, you must practice. If you need extra help in class please ask an instructor and then practice at home. Click here to download a PDF that shows how to tie your belt.
